World premiere recording of his father's oratorio in Welsh! Welsh conductor Owain Irwell Hughes (b.1942), whose international presence has been enhanced by his recording of the complete symphonies of Sibelius with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, presents a new recording on the Rubicon label of an oratorio by his father, composer\/conductor Irwell Hughes (1908-1988). The new recording on the Rubicon label features the oratorio of Owain's father, composer and conductor Arwell Hughes (1908-1988)!
