He began work on this album shortly after his debut album \"Departure\" was released in early 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic, and he says he recorded it based on new motivations in his own life.The album also features Samuel T. Herring, frontman of Future Islands, a synth-pop band that has captivated the world, trumpeter Yazz Ahmed of Sudan Archives, known for his releases on LA's prestigious Stones Throw label, and lo-fi hip-hop producer Kalaido, also known for his participation in Radiohead's productions.
