Mislivecek was a major figure in European opera, composing more than 20 operas and achieving fame in Venice, Naples, and Munich. Mozart often expressed his admiration for Mislivecek in his private letters.Philip Jaroussky and Emeke Barath are on screen as opera singers in Il Bohemo.
