It was the forerunner of the later Classical period. The work is in a new style of composition called the Gallant style, characterized by typical alternating slow and fast, simple themes. Some of the movements are based on dance-like rhythms, including many minuets and French-style armandos. Querrelli is a composer who poured all the compositional traits he learned in the early 18th century into the Gallant style, and he should be remembered as an icon of his time. The instrument used is a French model two-stage keyboard built in 2006 by Michael Johnson. It is based on a 1637 Johannes Lukkers harpsichord. It is also tuned to the Kilnberger 3rd law, a=415, a pitch commonly used in mid-18th century keyboard music.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Brilliant Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45729128186145,"sku":"5028421963082","price":12.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/5028421963082.jpg?v=1689139356","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/it-it\/products\/5028421963082","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
