The recordings they left behind are very few in existence, and this is the first reissue of all the recordings discovered to date (there is an alternate take of Adela Wahn's \"The Clown\").\n\n\n\nFanny Davis, one of the few pianists who was a student of Clara's whose recordings have survived, is said to have remained faithful to Clara's interpretations throughout her life. Davis's playing best conveys the style of Clara's playing. Adela Vern, on the other hand, was a pianist whose talent was recognized by Clara and who later studied with Clara's daughter, Marie Schumann.
