It is thought that the digital recordings made before 2000 (16bit\/44.1kHz) did not have enough density and information (or were lost during the analog\/digital conversion), and therefore could not be demonstrated on today's high-resolution audio sets. The overtone (high-resolution) range that was not recorded is restored by special processor processing using the latest technology to maximize the wide frequency bandwidth and dynamic range, thereby creating a sense of realism in localization and dynamics.
