The band's 1995 release \"The Balance\" was equally successful, and the band embarked on a massive world tour, including Japan, called \"The Balance Tour. The concert in Toronto, Canada on August 19 was recorded for television broadcast and live video productions. However, the concert was put on hold due to Sammy Hagar's departure from the band after the tour.
