Josquin Performed by Le Grand Lavoire!\n\nLe Grand Lavoire, the early music ensemble that caused a sensation by winning the Music History Award at the 2019 Record Academy Awards!\nA new recording poised to be the highlight of the Josquin Anniversary Year!\nThey perform the immortal music of Josquin, which lives on even after his death!\n\nThe early music ensemble “Grand Lavois” was founded in 1999 by Björn Schmeltzer, a renowned musicologist from Belgium—a country renowned for its early music scene. With their recording of Guillaume de Machaut’s masterpiece, the “Notre-Dame Mass” (PGCDP32110), they won the prestigious “Record Academy Award” and made a huge impact worldwide with their wild and powerful “early music performance.”\nTo commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Josquin Desprez (c. 1450–1521), the greatest master of the Flemish school, Grand Lavois is releasing a collection of works (presumed to be by Josquin) included in a chanson collection published posthumously by the Belgian composer and music publisher Teerman Susart (c. 1500–c. 1562)—a Belgian composer and music publisher—published after Josquin’s death. How will Grandravoix—who is described as “engaged with the historical repertoire while adhering to a thorough anti-historicist stance”—present this immortal music, which continues to live on in people’s hearts even after his death and remains as vibrant as ever 500 years later? Here comes the highly anticipated album set to be the standout release of the Josquin Year!\nTokyo M Plus\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Glossa Platinum","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595611136289,"sku":"4947182115992","price":22.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4947182115992.jpg?v=1790481916","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/it-it\/products\/4947182115992","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
