In the cello concerto, the contrast between the first movement, which is impressive for its incessant movement, and the dreamy second movement is wonderful, and in the double bass concerto on the theme of \"shadow,\" he explores the effects of various shadows and eclipse light using the instrument's timbre. Track 5, \"Moonburst,\" is related to the previously released \"Sunburst\" (composed in 2015) and draws on his past decade of compositional experience. Swiss conductor Schiffert, who specializes in performing Gomper's works, will once again give an excellent performance.
