Recorded at Liberty Studios in Hollywood and released by World Pacific in ’69, this debut album features a selection of popular covers arranged by Joe Sample. The lineup featured Wilton Felder, also of the Jazz Crusaders, along with Paul Humphrey, Leon Spencer Jr., and other renowned players from the soul-jazz and pre-fusion eras.
