His rolling boogie style piano playing, which encompasses all genres including blues, jazz, soul, and pop, as well as his passionate vocals reminiscent of Bessie Smith, Diana Krall, and other jazz singers, and even Janis Joplin on occasion, have won him a steady stream of fans. In 2003, she made her debut with the self-produced Something Cool.
