A collection of sonatas woven by modern flute and harpsichord, full of the power of life! Masahiro Arita's fourth recording of Bach's sonatas is a new world of modern flute! The sonatas with obbligato harpsichord were chosen because the right hands of the flute and harpsichord are on equal footing, and the recording features an exquisite ensemble with Mayako Sone, who performs with him for the first time. The musicians read and examined the score to understand every thought that Bach had, and sublimated it into a lively performance. Here is truly beautiful music by Bach, who continued to live strongly even in difficult circumstances, and by contemporary musicians who share his feelings. The painting used for the jacket is \"Paint Box\" by Yuzo Saeki (1898-1928) (owned by Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka). Saeki was another artist who carved out a path for himself with a strong will to live, and his work resonates with the ideas that Arita and Sone have put into this album. The booklet includes a commentary on the songs written by Arita herself. The booklet contains a new view based on the latest research, putting an end to the theory of forgery, and is a must-read for Bach fans. The process of deciphering the various messages hidden in Bach's music, connecting them to sound, and expressing them was more stimulating, surprising, and moving than I had imagined. (Bach is an important composer who brought me into contact with the harpsichord. He is such an overwhelming presence that he transformed me into a \"serious person who puts in a lot of effort.
