Extremely valuable recordings including recordings of early drafts and fragments. Michio KOBAYASHI (Harpsichord, Fortepiano)Michio KOBAYASHI graduated from the Department of Musicology at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1955. He studied harpsichord and chamber music at the Northwest German Music University (Detmold) in 1965. He received the first Torii Music Award (now the Suntory Music Award) in 1970, the Mobil Music Award in 1979, and the Salzburg International Foundation's Memorial Medal in 1972 for his numerous performances with the Japan Mozart Society and for the Japanese premieres of Mozart's works discovered in the 20th century. He received a commemorative medal from the Mozarteum.He has been a professor at Kunitachi College of Music, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Osaka University of Arts, and currently a visiting professor at Oita Performing Arts College. Takeshi KIRIYAMA (Violin)Takeshi KIRIYAMA (Violin)Born in Nagano, Japan, Takeshi KIRIYAMA began playing the violin at the age of 3 through gifted education. In 1998, he won the first prize at the 12th International Old Music Competition in Yamanashi, and in 1999, he won the first prize in the solo category at the International Old Music Competition in Bruges. His debut CD \"Chaconne\" (CAIL-728), released in the fall of 2000, was specially selected by Record Geijutsu magazine. In 2009, she published \"Mendelssohn: Complete Violin Sonatas\" with Hiromi Hoshino from Bärenreiter. He is currently a professor at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and a part-time lecturer at Ferris University. He is a viola player of the \"Erdödy String Quartet\". Together with harpsichordist Naoya Otsuka, he leads the duo unit \"Oedo Baroque.
