This marks their first overseas release, having previously released only self-produced albums. The album features 10 tracks.

There are no words to describe a SMALLSPEAKER album. But let’s start from the beginning. SMALLSPEAKER consists of three members: Otsuki, Homma, and Matsuoka. They are current or former members of legendary Japanese punk bands such as The Registrators, Brightliner, Car Crash, and Keen Monkey Work. They have already released six albums and several singles. All are self-produced, entirely DIY, and infused with an uncompromising passion unlike any other. From recording to the finished record to sales, they handle everything themselves. Few bands resist commercial interests quite as much as this Tokyo-based trio. As a result, it’s incredibly difficult to get your hands on their records. That’s why we’re truly grateful for the trust placed in us by SoundsofSubterrania. For the first time in the band’s 17-year history, we’re able to represent them to the outside world. Now, let’s talk about the music. The title of their album, *This Record Kills All Trend Scums*, perfectly captures their musical approach. Punk is viewed not merely as an extension of rock or as a political playground for more or less well-intentioned ideologies, but rather as a nihilistic means of social reform. It is this approach that elevates Small Speaker to the ranks of punk’s pioneers—and, by extension, to the origins of every significant youth culture that has rebelled against and questioned the establishment itself. And their music is exactly that. Raw, defiant, and full of rage, it lets out a screeching groan, as if screaming, “If you can’t handle this, get the hell out!” For today’s punk scene, Small Speakers are nothing less than what the Monks were to the ’60s beat scene. They are both a destructive force and a catalyst. Their sanctuary is the garage, but true to the good old “Killed by Death” tradition, they immediately tear it down all over again. If someone were to ask me what remains of punk’s 50-year history, I would answer, “Small Speaker. The rest is nothing but a museum.”

Tracklisting:

1.No Brain
2.Breaker
3.Ripper
4.Offender
5.Kill Trend Scums
6.Under The Wire
7.Pills
8.Pop Killer
9.Trash Scum Garbage
10.Ugly Pig
