Christian Mondoz (also known as Mendoz or Mendoze) is a recorder player from the south of France. He founded Musica Antiqua (Provence) in 1981 and has been active for over 30 years. On this CD, he is joined by his longtime friend Jean-Michel Robert, as well as a younger generation of musicians such as Fabrizio Cipriano and Carole Pare. Compared to Telemann's performances in Germany, Holland, and Belgium, this CD has a brighter, more open style that is very appealing.
