This album alternates the suite form works of the great Bach and Bartók, giving us a comparative view of the two. What Bach's and Bartók's keyboard works have in common is that, although they are in dance form, they employ some of the most advanced techniques of the time, and as a result of their intricacies, they reach the realm of tone sequences and atonality, and even use Eastern European and African rhythms, which can be heard more than heard.
