The Brodsky Quartet is one of the UK's leading ensembles, having performed over 3,000 concerts on the world's major stages and released over 60 recordings since its formation in 1972. This recording with the new lineup, which replaces Daniel Roland as first violin with Gina McCormack, a British virtuoso who was the leader of the Sorrell String Quartet for 13 years, is a highly anticipated project that features all three of the great Bach sacred works, \"Sonatas for Solo Violin,\" arranged for string quartet and performed by the Brodsky Quartet. The arrangements are based on the works of the great Bach composer, Brock Brock. The arrangements are by Paul Cassidy, who has supported the viola part of the Brodsky String Quartet since the 1980s, and this is of course the world premiere recording of this arranged version.
