Following his debut album \"Roots\" (2021), which celebrated black classical composers, his second album is his first concerto album. The album features the Violin Concerto by German Romantic composer Max Bruch (1838-1920) and Violin Concertos Nos. 1 and 2 by Florence Price (1887-1953), known as the first black female American composer. The concert will be performed with Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Philadelphia Orchestra, who won a Grammy Award for their album of Price's Symphonies Nos. 1 and 3. The concert also includes Price's \"Adoration,\" which has become Goosby's trademark encore. Randall began playing the violin at age 7, made his concert debut at age 9, and became the youngest ever winner of the Sphinx Competition at age 13. He studied with Itzhak Perlman, one of the world's leading violinists.He is also an ardent advocate of diversity in classical music and a passionate music educator, working on a variety of projects: in 2022, Goosby performed with the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra. He also played in the film \"Chevalier,\" about the life of Joseph Boulogne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, a composer who dominated the French court.
