Included on CD2 is the full-length album and an underdubbed mix of the same tracks as the original U.S. release. A poster featuring a Polaroid photo taken by Linda McCartney is included, printed/folded on both sides.

Paul McCartney describes the underdubbed mix as follows. This is 'Band on the Run' as no one has heard it before. When you take a song and add extra guitars and other parts, it's called an "overdub. This version is 'underdubbed,' which is the opposite of that.

The underdubbed mix allows the listener to enjoy the nine classic songs from "Band on the Run" without any additional orchestral or other parts. Previously unreleased, this rough mix was produced by Jeff Emerick with the help of Peter Swettenham of AIR Studios on October 14, 1973. As noted below, the song order differs from previous previously released versions, but this is in accordance with the song order of the original analog tapes found in MPL's warehouse.
