His one-horn \"My Romance,\" backed by Richard Wyans' piano trio, is the first of his works, and his ballad performances are also very tasteful, and his sense of stability is truly impressive. He has also performed with the Brazilian Sextet led by legendary bassist Ron Carter, and has recorded more than 100 albums.
