The last of the six moving tracks, which mainly consist of standard tunes, is the ultimate \"Little Abyss\", which has been played for nearly 50 years and is deeply beautiful! Masaaki Kikuchi, Japan's world-class solo genius. The last studio solo recording! The musical expression that the artist, who never allowed any compromise, spent his entire life exploring, is now being made into a work of art. The recording was made in December 2013 at a New York studio equipped with a top-of-the-line vintage Steinway model selected by Masaaki Kikuchi himself. Mr. Sun Chung, who worked as a producer alongside Manfred Eicher at ECM, was shocked by Masaaki Kikuchi's performance with Paul Motian's band at the New York Village Vanguard in 2011, and was completely fascinated. After more than two years of searching for a recording, it finally came to fruition. At this time Masaaki Kikuchi was also on intense medication for lung cancer, and the recording took many intervals and even had to be interrupted for two hours to get some sleep. But ... there is a world in the performance that transcends it all.\" The moment I sat down at the piano, the music just came pouring out of me,\" said producer Sang Chung, whose keen intuition and inspired improvisational beauty is unique. The performance is literally \u003cspontaneous supreme beauty\u003e as it moves between the extremes of free improvisation and song form. The moment when the melody emerges in \"Ramona,\" a 1928 song composed by Mabel Wayne, is the ultimate in the world of artist Masaaki Kikuchi.
