However, Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake left the band to join Uriah Heep, and were replaced by Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge, who had already participated in the previous tour.However, the band's tour was temporarily interrupted by the sudden death of Randy Rhodes, and Bernie Torme, formerly of Gillan, joined the band for the tour starting April 1, but was fired after only five shows, and a new guitarist, Brad Gills of the Night Ranger, joined the band. The tour with Gills, who had won Ozzy Osbourne's favor, was highly acclaimed. The concert in Irvine, California on June 23 of the following year was recorded and broadcast for the popular American music radio program \"King Biscuit Flower Hour\".
