The band began touring with Etheridge and a new lineup, and the concert in Marseille, France on November 26, 1975 was recorded and broadcast for a French radio program. This live album is based on the broadcast and includes the complete concert including the drum solo and encores.Guitarist John Etheridge, whose playing, like Alan Holdsworth, is heavily influenced by jazz, has a different approach from Holdsworth's but perfectly matches Soft Machine's live performance and will contribute greatly to the formation of the band's new style. The lineup will also perform new songs from their forthcoming album, Softs.
