The \"Rhapsody, Concerto for Orchestra\" is a dazzling, colorful work for various instruments, while \"Pluto,\" composed in 1996 as a sequel to Holst's \"The Planets,\" depicts destruction and rebirth in the motif of the god who governs the underworld. In the premiere version, the last part of \"Neptune\" was sung by a female chorus, but in this arrangement by the composer himself, the flute and oboe portray the warmth of the sun in place of the voices.Other works include \"Path at Sunrise, Masses of Flowers,\" which depicts flowers blooming in the quiet of early morning, and \"The Art of Sailing at Dawn,\" which describes a voyage at dawn. Marin Allsop, together with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, conveys the lyrical charm of Brower's works, which are always close to nature, to every corner with careful work.
