Sarah Branch as Marie sings in a luminous voice, freely singing in the upper register, and portrays an alluring female figure.John Osborne as Tonio echoes the high C repeatedly in his youthful voice, and Paolo Bordogna as Shulpis anchors the entire ensemble with his steady singing. Adriana Bignani Lesca's comical singing as the real mother is also worth listening to.
