In the fall of 2020, Patrizia Kopatchinskaja will join forces with Il Giardino Armonico for the release of Vivaldi and Beyond (Alpha624\/Domestic NYCX-10161), which crystallizes her love of ancient instruments in a unique way, and will be followed by another album, not long after the excitement of that release. The title piece is a double concerto by the contemporary Spanish composer Coy, inspired by Dali's early work \"Plaisirs illumines\" (1929, also featured in the short film \"The Dogs of Andalusia\"), with a guest appearance by the virtuoso cellist Gaveta. Kopatchinskaja's keen sensibility is evident in the selection of works, which includes a representative of contemporary Hungarian chamber music and an Argentinean Hinastera.
