The program featured Haydn’s early masterpiece, the Violin Concerto in C major—a work rarely heard in concert these days—the highly acclaimed No. 92, “Oxford,” and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D major, which was influenced by Haydn. Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C major is structured in three movements: a bright and lively opening movement, a lyrical middle movement with sincere and elegant melodies, and a lively finale. Shunsuke Sato’s sparkling tone and sincere performance blend perfectly, creating a masterful rendition that, even in his twenties, exudes the air of a true maestro. Furthermore, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 holds special significance as it was part of the program for the 18th Century Orchestra’s first visit to Japan—an orchestra in which Hidemi Suzuki was a member—making this early masterpiece by Beethoven a must-hear. It’s also worth noting that Shunsuke Sato participates not only as a soloist but also as a member of the orchestra in every piece on the program! This is a live recording from the Small Hall of the Bunka Kaikan.\nKing International\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Arte dell'arco Japan","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595593965857,"sku":"4573686060065","price":21.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4573686060065.jpg?v=1790481837","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/es-es\/products\/4573686060065","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
