The DVD includes the concert and a 10-minute interview with Deborah Voigt, a renowned American soprano and experienced Wagner interpreter, as well as Japanese subtitles for the lyrics of \"Götterdämmerung\". The booklet also includes a commentary in Japanese. Jeffrey Tate and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra have been in the spotlight ever since they began their relationship in 2008 for the quality of their performances and interesting programming, and the 2012 recording included here was described by the German newspaper Welt as \"an impressive performance by soprano superstar Voigt and maestro Tate.
