DIRT was formed in 1982 by drummer Charlie Morita, who is currently active with The Phantom Gifts and Charlie & The Hot Wheels, and he played bass in the band DIRT. In the era when ROCK and the underground scene after PUNK in Japan were flowing into the mainstream at a tremendous rate, the next generation of delinquent teens who were directly influenced by predecessors such as THE STALIN, FRICTION, THE FOOLS, JUNGLES, etc. produced dangerous ROCK! Rabid vocals, solid guitars, and a strong sense of humor. The rhythm section that beats out timeless and unchanging ROCK beats! This is a rare record of a band that has been little known for only a short period of time in the West Tokyo area of Fussa and Tachikawa. The liner notes by Sammy Maeda, a close friend of the band, also includes a valuable record of the band's relationship with the band. Included are 7 studio demo tracks from 1982 and 4 live tracks from 1982 at Kichijoji Mandara, 11 tracks in total!
