Japan-exclusive release!\n\nThis album is a live recording of a performance by the Modena Pavarotti Opera House Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Hiroshi Yoshida, held at Izumi Hall in connection with the 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo. It is also the result of a cultural project aimed at “bringing the beauty of Modena and Italy to Japan.”\nCentered around Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, “Italian,” the album features overtures and interludes by leading Italian composers such as Rossini, Verdi, and Mascagni. It is a collection of works that portrays the “Italian spirit = Italianità” from multiple perspectives.\nWhile Mendelssohn’s music, born from the perspective of a traveler, paints an idealized Italian landscape filled with light and color, the music of Rossini and Verdi embodies an inner Italy rooted in song and drama. The melodies speak like voices, the rhythms pulsate, and the sounds speak directly to human emotions.\nHiroshi Yoshida, who has long been active with the Bologna Opera Philharmonic and has served as Music Director of the Modena Pavarotti Opera Philharmonic since 2022, carefully captures the essence of Italy by connecting “Italy as seen from the outside” with “music born from within,” drawing on a perspective cultivated across different cultures. Another major appeal of this album is that it is a special release produced exclusively for Japan.\n\nHiroshi Yoshida was born in Hokkaido in 1968. He graduated from the Conducting Department and completed graduate studies at Tokyo College of Music.\nHe completed the Master’s program and received a diploma from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, as well as the Master’s program at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.\nHe has conducted performances at opera houses throughout Italy. In 2022, he was appointed Music Director of the Modena Pavarotti Opera House Philharmonic. In 2023, he was awarded a special prize by the City of Modena, Italy, in recognition of his distinctive contributions and achievements as a music director.\nTokyo M Plus\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Tactus","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52776484798753,"sku":"8007194108750","price":1215.0,"currency_code":"UYU","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/8007194108750.jpg?v=1779963781","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-uy\/products\/8007194108750","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
