On July 14, 1981, shortly after the release of their 2nd album \"THE ROOSTERS a-GOGO\" and 4th single \"GIRL FRIEND\", the band released \"Live is the best.This documentary is full of the thrill and energy of THE ROOSTERS that inspires fans of the band called \"THE ROOSTERS\". From their second album, \"THE ROOSTERS a-GOGO,\" the film features a cover of the instrumental \"TELSTAR,\" a worldwide hit by The Tornados that was famously covered by The Ventures, and a cover of the blues harp song by Shinya Oe (presumably). Although not included on the album, the live standard \"LEATHER BOOTS\" and Dr. Feelgood's cover of the live standard \"SHE DOES IT RIGHT\" can be heard on this album.The encore included \"TEQUILA,\" a cover of The Champs' classic song from their first album, \"DO THE BOOGIE\" (lyrics by Toshiyuki Shibayama, music by Makoto Ayukawa), a Sun House cover also from their first album, \"LIPSTICK ON YOUR COLLAR,\" a rock cover of Connie Francis' love song from their second album, and \"BYE BYE MY GIRL,\" a classic from their first album, but not on the album.
