The album also includes a duet with Bartoli (track 2) and a piece with the duduk, a folk instrument from her native Armenia (track 10). It will be released in conjunction with the Salzburg Pentecostal Music Festival, which will feature Pauline Viardot. Pauline Viardot (1821-1910) was a brilliant singer, pianist, and composer from the famous Garcia family of Spanish music.This amazingly talented family, whose sister is the famous vocalist Maria Malibran (featured on the album \"Maria\" by Celilia Bartoli) and whose father is the legendary tenor Manuel Garcia (featured on the album \"Contrabandista\" by Javier Camarena), has influenced European culture. Pauline also played a role in the success of her fellow musicians, painters, and writers, and was admired by such musicians as Saint-Saëns, Chopin, and Clara Schumann.
