In this album, the duo pursues a wide range of sounds, based on the combination of violin and guitar, but sometimes switching the violin to viola or adding other instruments in a more modest way. About the recording From the beginning of the piece "Doroplet," Falgren plays pizzicato on the viola like a guitar for more than two minutes before shifting to the melody, which is not a violin-guitar duo in the usual sense of the word, since a piano and other instruments join in the background. The song is not a duo in the usual sense of the word, but it expresses the image of the sea and the splashes of the sea felt by the two who grew up near the sea. In the second piece, "Train Home," Falgren uses the violin, but here, too, he plays pizzicato, as if he were playing the guitar, before moving into the melody. This piece shows the anticipation of reunion with family and friends at the end of a train journey. The third piece, "Harvest Song," is filled with the gentle beauty of a golden scene of autumn dusk and fields, expressed with violin, guitar, and piano. The following songs include "Waltz of the Castle Lord," "Bench on the Hill," "Willow Tree," "Critters Carnival," and "Meersack Falls," which are songs about my impressions of my stay in England for an appearance at the Ullapool Guitar Festival in the Scottish Highlands, as well as "Beyond the Wave Glass," a song about the view through an old wave glass window. Beyond the Wave Glass," which describes the nostalgic feel of the view seen through an old wave glass window; "Eat, Play, Sleep, Repeat," a song about my dog Chili; and "The Circle," about a gathering with a multinational group of musical friends.
