SACD hybrid disc of the lustrous Fauré works performed by the gifted Branterido. Branterido, a cello nobleman, performed Bach's Suite for Unaccompanied Cello on his first visit to Japan in 2015. The performance was well received for its large scale, which foreshadowed a great instrument. Following the Grieg, Grainger, and Nielsen album (BIS SA 2120), the second release on the BIS label is a collection of works by Fauré, featuring the two cello sonatas in a brilliant, lustrous, and beautifully played tone. Branterid was born in 1987 to Swedish and Danish parents. At the age of 14, she made her concerto debut in Copenhagen performing Elgar's cello concerto with the Royal Danish Orchestra, and this concert marked the beginning of her performing career. He has also focused on chamber music, often performing with the young violinist Vilde Flang, and has released several albums with her.A new era of branterido performances! King International
