Gael's 18th studio album was composed, written, and produced entirely by Gael Benjamin in his Paris studio on a hot summer night in 2022. Inspired by the life of his girlfriend at the time, who was often under the influence of drugs, Gael imagined a soundtrack to the 12-hour journey she would experience in the Parisian nightlife. From the moment you dress up in the evening to the next morning, after a night of all kinds of parties and excesses, you end up lying cold on the dirty sidewalks of the city.... The album is composed of a mix of electro-pop to funky West Coast tunes and instrumentals, with all instruments played by Gael. The songs are mainly played in the same key, and each song makes full use of different colors, textures, and lyrics to provide a wide range of variations, creating a truly Geister-like worldview.
