This new recording, created with renowned song accompanist Roger Vignoles, features Brahms' song cycle "The Romance of the Beautiful Magerone," CD 1 features a reading of Ludwig Teague's novel "The Love Story of the Beautiful Magerone and Count Peter of Provence," which was the basis for "The Romance of the Beautiful Magerone," and a Alternate readings and Brahms' songs are included.
