To coincide with the album’s release, they embarked on the “Songs From The Wood Tour,” performing a total of 119 shows across North America and Europe. A concert held in Manchester, UK, on February 5 of that year—early in the tour—was recorded for promotional purposes and broadcast on BBC Radio. This album is a live recording based on that broadcast, capturing the entire concert, including the encore.\n\nThe setlist focuses on songs from the new album while also featuring representative tracks from their previous albums, giving it the feel of a \"Best of Jethro Tull\" at that point in time.
