This year, 50 years after its original release on December 6, 1968, this masterpiece, the starting point of the "Stones sound" that has become synonymous with rock music, is now available in a Japan-only <50th Anniversary Edition> that includes two SACD hybrids in 7" paper jackets and a sono sheet! Disc 1 of the SACD hybrid contains the full-length album newly remastered by Bob Ludwick, and Disc 2 contains the mono version of "The Devil's Pity Song," which is very different from the stereo version, and the rare sonosheet that came with the original Japanese LP, ""Hello! Mick Jagger, London - Tokyo, April 17, 1968", which was included with the original Japanese LP. This is a telephone interview with Mick Jagger conducted by King Records, the Japanese distributor at that time.In addition to the "Hello! Mick Jagger," the miniature reissue of the Japan first pressing LP obi, and the Japan first pressing single jackets for "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Street Fighting Man" are also reproduced. The original LP jacket is a "toilet doodle" jacket (facing page), which was rejected by the record company when the original LP was released, and a slipcase of the simple original LP jacket has been added.
