This is the man who will lead the American music industry in 2017! His major label debut and worldwide hit album! The album features songs written as a letter to Sturgill's child born in the summer of 2014. The album contains 9 songs, 8 originals by Sturgill and a cover of Nirvana's "In Bloom". The majority of the recording was done at The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville, produced by Sturgill himself, with David Ferguson (who has worked with Johnny Cash and John Prine) as engineer and Sean Sullivan participated as an assistant engineer. The album was nominated for two Grammy Awards at the 59th Grammy Awards for "Best Album of the Year" and "Best Country Album".
