The previous album included \"Seventh Quartet\" Op.20 arranged by Carl Czerny for wind ensemble and \"Sextet\" Op.71 arranged by Beethoven himself, which gave us an insight into the popularity of Harmonie Musik in the first half of the 19th century. This release includes three works published in the 1810s by Sigmund Anton Steiner, Beethoven's friend and publisher, and four pieces from the play \"Egmont,\" arranged by one of the members, Robert Percival. The arranger of the \"Pathetique\" and Symphony No. 7 is not known, but both have elaborate arrangements. Percival's arrangement of \"Egmont,\" which emphasizes the individuality of each member, also conveys the full sound of the orchestra.
