Description:
Norwegian extreme metal legends Cadaver release a new album. The leader of the band is Anders Oden, who also participated in Satyricon and Celtic Frost. What's more, the guitarist of TNT, Ronnie Le Teclo, joins the band this time! The band plays chaotic and brutal death metal! Cadaver is a veteran Norwegian death metal band. The band was formed in 1988 by Anders Oden, who would later play in bands such as Celtic Frost and Satyricon, and made their album debut in 1990 with "Hallucinating Anxiety". This was a gory death metal album, but their second album, "...In Pains" (1992), introduced flutes and other instruments and showed a more progressive side. In 1993, the band temporarily disbanded. Anders stayed away from the metal scene for a while, but in 1999, he revived Cadaver as a guest in Satyricon's work. However, this time, under the name "Cadaver Inc.", the band's sound was more black metal-oriented.After releasing "Discipline" in 2001, the band changed its name back to Cadaver. The band released "Necrosis" in 2004, but disbanded again that same year. Anders then went on to play in the reformed Celtic Frost. Finally, in 2019, Cadaver reunited and released their first album in 16 years, "Eder & Vile", with Dirk Verbüren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork) as drummer in 20 years. The band again excited the scene with their intense death metal music. They are now releasing their first new album in about three years. The album is titled "The Age of the Offended" and features the return of Eilert Solstad, bassist from the "...In Pains" period. But the highlight of all is the participation of that TNT guitarist, Ronnie Le Teclo! Ronnie is an occultist to the extent that he calls himself a witch, but even so, this is an unexpected choice. But that doesn't mean that Cadaver will turn into a melodic hard rock band, as they will continue to play chaotic and brutal death metal. As Anders says, "the perfect post-apocalyptic soundtrack"! Includes Japanese language manual and bilingual lyrics.
