SHANTI, a singer-songwriter leading the jazzy pop scene, has established herself as a "diva of the high-resolution era" with her looks and high-quality songs. She has long had a reputation for her cover songs, and this album includes a selection of her best cover songs from the seven albums she has released to date. In addition, three new recordings are specially included in this album! The first is "Hard Times Come Again No More" by Foster, the theme song for the movie "Survival Family," which was released in February 2017, and the second is a song sung by Aoi Teshima in the movie "Puzzled After the Rain," also released in 2017, for which SHANTI provided English lyrics. The album also includes "Down By The Salley Gardens," a traditional Irish song, and "Over The Rainbow," a standard newly recorded for this album, all of which are takes that bring out the best of her current charm.
