Moonchild, a new generation neo-soul band formed at the University of Southern California Jazz School by Amber Navran, Max Brick and Andris Mattson, all of whom are multi-instrumentalists, is attracting attention from jazz fans and R&B listeners alike. Moonchild has announced the release of their long-awaited third album, "Voyager"! The lead single "Cure" features Amber Navran's crystal clear voice singing about the love she feels for the person she is trying to forget her ex-lover over soft synthesizers, keyboards and sweetly clawed guitars inspired by Stevie Wonder in the 70s. 2012 Amber Navran's first album, "Be Free," was independently released in 2012, and her second album, "Please Rewind," released on the Tru Thoughts label in 2014, received international acclaim and is now being released in a new generation of jazz, neo-soul, and electronic manners. Moonchild's clever arrangements and catchy riffs, which incorporate jazz, neo-soul, and electronic mannerisms, have quickly made him the center of attention.They have performed with Stevie Wonder, The Internet, The Internet, Jill Scott, and others, and even Robert Glasper, Jose James, Laura Mavura, James Poyser, Jazzy Jeff, Ninth Wonder, and Tyler the Creator have Praise. For this album, "Voyager," Jeremy Most, who has worked with D'Angelo and Hiatus Cayote, as well as Jesse Boykins III, played an important role in broadening the band's musical horizons. Recorded at a mountain retreat in Lake Arrowhead, California, the band's work is imbued with the influence of the great outdoors, with its tree-covered mountains, cascading waterfalls, and singing birds. The domestic release will include an additional bonus track, bilingual lyrics and commentary.
