Ersetan is a composer who received his PhD in composition from Stanford University, worked at CCRMA on 3D modeling research in acoustics and space, and developed the acoustic measurement and simulation model of the Hagia Sophia; in 2016, he was awarded a fellowship in the DAAD Berlin Artists Program, where he developed a lost architectural acoustic furthering his research. Since moving to Germany, he has worked with the SWR Symphony Orchestra, the Arditti Quartet, ELISION, and Musikfabrik, and his works have been performed at major festivals including the Donaueschingen Music Festival and ECLAT. He explores the relationship between sound, space, and physicality, and develops an original compositional theory that links architecture and acoustics with extra-dimensional geometry.\n\nThe piece (b) from \"Das Phonem zwischen zwei Wortern\" sounds like a demolished Byzantine building, like an archaeology of sound.In \"Thousand Dead Bodies Under My Bed...,\" memory and trauma permeate the music, suggesting that the past is never fully gone.\n\nWERGO\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Wergo","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52171569070369,"sku":"4010228644623","price":25.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4010228644623.jpg?v=1766641961","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-us\/products\/4010228644623","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
