The songs on the album were composed by Avishai Cohen on piano at his home near Jerusalem during the pandemic. Jazz, classical, and Israeli roots music, fresh and expansive melody lines with a somewhat melancholy Israeli feel, and diverse and sophisticated rhythms.Building on a foundation of contemporary musical elegance that only Avishai Cohen can achieve, the band showcases an exquisite combination of piano with the unique touch phrasing of Yelchin Shirinov and the extended and uninhibited drumming of newcomer Roni Caspi.
