A collection of unaccompanied alto saxophone works from the second half of the 20th century onward titled "Lisbon-Milan. In addition to Salvatore Chalino (1947-), the album features works by Vincenzo Parigi (1984-), Luca Francesconi (1956-), Juan Pedro Oliveira (1959-), and Christopher Bochmann (1950-). Manuel Telles is a Portuguese saxophonist born in 2002. After studying in Lisbon, he went on to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, hence the title of this CD. He is already widely acclaimed as a young prodigious classical saxophonist. Tobu Shoji Co.
