Born in Luxembourg, he picked up his first drumsticks at the age of 7 and started out playing rock, but at the age of 13 he discovered the music of Art Blakey, whom he still worships today, and this led him to jazz. While taking lessons from Jonas Burgwinkel at university in Cologne, he quickly gained a foothold on the scene, joining groups such as JugendJazzOrchester NRW, etc. On his 20th birthday, he decided he wanted to form his own band and formed 6tet. Victor Fox (ts), Adrian Garrett (ts), and Jakob Bensch (tp) make up the front line, with Leon Hatry on piano and Jan Birkslager on double bass, all brilliant and spirited.While the front line of the band's opening piece, \"Five Children,\" may have captivated with its passionate and formidable performance, the following piece, \"Like a Monk Tune,\" develops a strong theme based on classic modern jazz.
