Debut of Bürki, a promising young prodigyDebut album of pianist Simon Bürki, born in Switzerland in 2000. Bürki studied piano in Khiu, Ukraine from the age of five, and continued his studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in Moscow. He was recognized by Matuyev, won the first prize at the Khiu Youth Pianist Competition, and is currently studying with Sergey Babayan at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. The album is dedicated to Rachmaninoff, whose 150th birthday is in 2023, and features several pieces and arrangements from his preludes and exercises "Pictures of Sound," as well as pieces by Tchaikovsky, Scriabin, and others with which he is closely associated. The virtuosity of the musicians is superb, and this is a promising prospect for the future. King International
