This time, we are releasing 5 titles with rock elements! ＞Alan Merrill, whose mother is the world-renowned jazz singer Helen Merrill, and who is famous for writing the U.S. No. 1 hit "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," and Hiroshi Oguchi of the Tempters, a popular GS roughneck band, formed this band in Japan after inviting Takeshi Yokouchi, who later formed TENSAW, to join them. Vodka Collins released this album in 1973. The band disappeared after releasing only one album, and their too-short activity conversely became a glittering legend, stamped as the history of the early days of Japanese rock music. This is one of the masterpieces that shine brilliantly in the history of Japanese rock music. As the landmark reputation of "Japan's first glam rock" suggests, this is simple pop rock 'n' roll with a strong 70s glam rock flavor, with a feeling similar to David Bowie and the New York Dolls, but with a good amount of looseness overall. The album is well-balanced and full of variety, including the typical glam M-1 and M-5, the tight and fast M-2, and the folky M-7.Alan's voice is not glam-rock metallic, but rather masculine and soulful, and his fluent Japanese vocals can be heard without discomfort. The tempo of the songs is also very fast, with a live feel, and the total of 28 minutes runs as if it were flowing at once. The band's life was short, perhaps too soon for this sense of style, but the light and cool coolness of the music has not faded away even after half a century has passed.</toshiba-emi>

Tracklisting:

1.AUTOMATIC PILOT
2.BILLY MARS
3.TERMINAL CITY
4.SANDS OF TIME
5.PONTIAC PAN
