It is a piece dedicated to the Norwegian virtuoso, Ansnes, whose very presence was the source of inspiration for the composition. The soloists in the \"Serenidad\" are the renowned clarinetist Frest and the female trumpet player Teine Ting Helset in the \"Trumpet Concerto,\" which expresses the longing for Venice. The Piano Concerto and Trumpet Concerto were recorded at the Ultima Festival in honor of Seansen's 60th birthday, and the Clarinet Concerto was recorded live when Frest received the Sonning Prize, Denmark's cultural award in 2014, both world premiere recordings.
